Who we are
Chariotz is an automotive editorial site dedicated to car customization, restoration, ownership, buying decisions, and enthusiast culture. Founded by Wilfred Martis, Chariotz started as an app to help car enthusiasts document and share their builds; today, that app business is closed and Chariotz operates as a publication for readers who believe their vehicle is more than just transportation.

From bolt-on upgrades to full restorations, new car reviews to classic spotlights, we write for the hands-on enthusiast and the curious browser alike. Our coverage is organized into ten departments:

Our team
Chariotz is written by a team of seven editors and writers who specialize across performance, car care, technology, classics, events, and accessories. Josh Hartley is the editor-in-chief. Each writer brings real-world experience — from project cars and track days to restoration shops and show fields. Meet the team.
